At Boss Up, training is focused on development of personal style and a foundation of healthy posture practice. Personal expression and improvisational creativity is encouraged and the principles of yoga are integral. Every class starts with a quick yoga warm-up and ends with some safe, effective stretches to keep you feeling strong and flexy. Class structure builds up to the trickier stuff, and a consistent practice will inevitably result in attaining perfect posture habits, enhanced style, a better range of movement, and more physical power. It doesn't take long to acquire the skills and strength it takes to create beautiful art with our dance partner, the pole. Yoga is an ideal practice to add to your pole training, as it helps imprint correct posture and build lean, flexible muscle, but yoga is also a great practice on its own. Separate and combination classes are available. If you find that the studio's schedule doesn't work with yours, you're welcome to request classes and times that do!
